I get this question all the time. Investors today are banking on the strength and resilience of the Toronto market to make them a lot of money...in 10 or 20 years. Right now, if you want to purchase an investment you will likely be out of pocket approx. $500+/monthly. Looking at a real estate investment is like looking at investing in stocks. First, you need to spend money to make money. Here, you're banking on the tenant paying down enough of your principal to start cash flowing eventually. With today's rental rates and the lower price points we're seeing - there are some really great opportunities out there today.

Finding accessible housing is no simple task, but it takes someone who cares enough to make the necessary calls and actions that will find you the right home. My brother was born with cerebral palsy and finding housing, vacations, etc. that are accessible is always harder than it should be. I spent the majority of my childhood volunteering with special needs kids and adults and learning about making the world more accessible for everyone. Finding a property that is barrier-free or has the potential to be, is something I pride myself in offering and hope I can work with you to help make this transition enjoyable.
